I went in hoping to pick up a few baby bits and thought I’d have plenty to choose from, but the selection felt a bit limited. They did have some of the basics, which was fine, but when I started looking closer, a few things were missing in the sizes or options I needed. If you’re just after something simple, it might do the job, but I ended up checking other sites instead. It was a bit disappointing, to be honest

"Nice shop, but I’m not totally convinced on the eco side"
I’ve got mixed feelings about Baby and Child Store, to be honest. On one hand, I really like that they stock some wooden toys and a few more eco-friendly bits, and the delivery packaging was minimal, which I appreciated. But then I also found myself wondering how sustainable a lot of it actually is, because I couldn’t see much detail about where things are made or what the brands are really doing. So I do like the shop, but I’m also a bit unsure about it. It’s not bad at all, I just wish they were more upfront with the sustainability info. 3 stars from me

Was easy enough to follow overall. Had one small question, but nothing too confusing...

The prices felt high for what it was. I expected the baby stuff to feel a bit nicer at that cost, but it just didn’t seem worth it. I’ve seen similar things cheaper elsewhere, so I left disappointed...
"Cute gift wrap and worth adding on"
I added the gift wrap to a baby gift I ordered, mostly because I didn’t feel like trying to wrap it nicely myself, and I’m glad I did. It showed up looking neat and really sweet without being too fancy or overdone. The paper felt like good quality too, so I didn’t feel like I had wasted the extra money. My only small complaint is that the note card was a little smaller than I expected, but that wasn’t a big deal. Overall, I was happy with it and would probably add it again...

I ordered because the site showed it was in stock. Then I got told later it wasn’t available. Annoying. It wasted my time. I probably wouldn’t be in a hurry to shop here again.

"The tracking on my order was basically useless..."
The tracking on my order was basically useless. It barely updated for days, so I had no idea where the package even was, which was so frustrating. And since it was baby stuff I actually needed, it just made the whole thing more stressful than it should’ve been. I kept checking it like maybe something would suddenly change, but nope. i don’t think I’d order from here again.

"Sizing guide was kinda off"
I bought this based on the age listed for my baby, but it ended up feeling way too small. It just didn’t seem suitable for that age at all.

"Click and collect wasn’t as easy as I expected"
I ordered using click and collect because I thought it would be quick and simple, but when I got there I ended up waiting around for a while and the staff didn’t really seem to know where my order was, which was a bit frustrating. I did get it eventually, so it wasn’t a total disaster, but it definitely didn’t feel very smooth and I probably wouldn’t choose this option again unless I really had to.

"Cute idea, but the fit was all wrong"
I ordered a baby outfit from babyandchildstore.com, and while it looked nice enough at first glance, the fit was disappointing. The arms were weirdly tight, but the rest of it hung loose and baggy. My little one started fussing after just a few minutes, so I’m guessing it wasn’t very comfy either. It’s a shame because the style was kind of cute, but I don’t think I’d buy from them again.

I started ordering a few baby bits here because I kept realizing I needed random things at the last minute. After a couple of orders, I noticed I’d built up some loyalty points, which was a nice surprise. I’ll admit it took me a bit of clicking around to work out how to use them, but once I figured it out, I managed to knock some money off my next order. If you shop here fairly often, the rewards are definitely worth having.

"Box showed up completely crushed"
I was disappointed when this arrived. The packaging was awful and the box was totally crushed, which is especially frustrating since it was a baby item. After paying, I expected a little more care, and now I’m not sure I’d trust ordering something like this again...

"I was trying to order a few baby..."
I was trying to order a few baby bits, but I was a bit surprised by how limited the payment options were. Maybe I’m just too used to using PayPal or Apple Pay for everything, but having to go and find my card felt like more hassle than I expected.
The checkout did work fine in the end, so maybe I’m being a bit picky. Still, it made me feel slightly less confident, especially for an online baby store where I’d assumed there would be a few more payment choices.

"Delivery Confusion Ruined My Plans"
I had to ask twice about the delivery and both times the replies were slow and vague. It did get sorted in the end, but by then my plans were already messed up, which was really frustrating. Customer service just didn’t feel very helpful

"Disappointing showroom experience"
I went into the showroom hoping to get some proper advice on prams and baby furniture, but it just felt like nobody was that interested in helping us. We stood around for a while, asked a couple of questions, and the replies were so short it felt like we were interrupting them. Isn’t that what the showroom is there for, to help people decide?
The place itself looked fine, but the service really put me off buying anything. When you’re looking at items that cost this much, wouldn’t you expect a bit more care and attention? I left feeling annoyed and ended up ordering elsewhere.

"Decent shop, but I’d like clearer safety info"
I ordered a few items and overall it went fine. Delivery was okay and nothing really went wrong, but I’m careful about what I buy, so I found myself digging around for proper safety and compliance details. Some product pages had the info I needed, but others felt a bit lacking. I’d probably use the shop again, but only if the labels, certificates, and safety details are easier to see upfront.

i’m giving 2 stars because the delivery itself was fine, but my order wasn’t correct. i ordered a blue baby blanket and got a pink one instead, and one small item was missing too. customer service did eventually reply, but it took longer than i expected. just really annoying when you’re trying to have everything ready on time

The site does work, but it feels outdated and a bit crowded. The colors and layout aren’t very clean, so browsing around wasn’t the nicest experience. I also kept getting the feeling there might be extra fees or charges tucked away somewhere, which made me a little hesitant to keep going.
